Martha S. Tabio

SVP, Construction Loan Division

Martha S. Tabio, Senior Vice President, has had an extensive banking career
spanning more than 30 years, by working in both large, statewide, multi-billion
dollar banks as well as local community banks in capacities such as Team Leader
or Department Head.

Since 1977, she has specialized in commercial real estate lending with particular
emphasis in construction financing, one of her main duties at Banesco.  In her
position, she is directly responsible for developing, closing and managing
valuable relationships with real estate developers and investors.

Martha earned her Masters in Business Administration degree from Barry University,
where she was also elected by her classmates as Class President.  She is a graduate
with honors from the National School of Real Estate Finance at Ohio State
University.

Over the years, she has served in numerous business and community organizations,
always holding leadership positions as well as winning a variety of awards.  She is
most proud of her involvement in Financial Women International, a worldwide, 30,000
member professional organization where she started as a simple member and achieved its highest office by being installed as its International President for the year 1995-96.
